zope package in Linux calculates local roles incorrectly

Description:
The zope package could allow a local user to gain privileges, due to a vulnerability in the calculation of local roles. The package fails to properly check for folder hierarchy when calculating local roles. A local attacker can use this vulnerability to gain privileges to unauthorized folders.

Remedy:
For Red Hat Linux Powertools 6.1, 6.2, and 7.0:
Upgrade to Zope package 2.2.4 first. Then apply the Zope-Hotfix package, as listed in RHSA-2000:127-06. See References.
For Debian Linux 2.2 (potato):
Upgrade to the latest version of zope (2.1.6-5.3 or later), as listed in Debian Security Advisory 20001219. See References.
For Linux-Mandrake 7.1 and 7.2:
