Linux zope package Image and File objects

Description:
The zope package could allow a remote attacker to gain elevated privileges, due to insecure data updating methods on Image and File objects. A remote attacker with DTML editing privileges could modify a File or Image object to gain access to unauthorized resources.

Apply the Zope hotfix release (2000-12-18), available from the Zope.org Web site. See References.

Apply the Zope-Hotfix package, as listed in RHSA-2000:135-03. See References.
For Debian Linux 2.2 (potato):
Upgrade to the latest version of zope (2.1.6-5.4 or later), as listed in Debian Security Advisory 20001220. See References.
