Description:
Electronic Mail for Unix (ELM) is vulnerable to a buffer overflow. A local attacker could send a long string using the -f or -s argument to overflow a buffer. This vulnerability could allow the user to execute code with privileges of the mail user.

Upgrade to the latest stable version ELM (2.5.3 or later), available for download from ELM Web site. See References.
