Description:

TYPSoft FTP Server could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the FTP server. A remote attacker can send a GET command containing "dot dot" sequences (/../), a CWD command containing modified "dot dot" sequences that use three dots instead of two (...), or LIST command containing modified "dot dot" sequences containing asterisk characters (/../../*.*) to traverse directories and view arbitrary files and directories outside of the FTP root directory.

Upgrade to the latest version of TYPSoft FTP Server (0.99.13 or later), available from the TYPSoft Web site. See References.
