Description:
IBM AIX is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the /usr/esa/sbin/sa_snap program. A local authenticated attacker with system group user privileges could exploit this vulnerability using unknown attack vectors to overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
