ProFTPD FTP server backdoor

Description:
ProFTPD contains a backdoor, caused by the compromise of the distribution server of the ProFTPD project. The ProFTPD 1.3.3c source code packages distributed from November 28th 2010 to December 2nd 2010 have been compromised. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using a HELP command to gain access to a root shell.
