Description:
SCO OpenServer is vulnerable to a buffer overflow in the lp program. The lp program is used to submit files and relevant information for printing. By default, lp is installed suid bin. By using command line arguments and sending lp an unusually long character string, a local attacker can overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with privileges of bin.
