IBM Informix Dynamic Server oninit buffer overflow

ibm-informix-dynamic-oninit-bo (65209) The risk level is classified as HighHigh Risk

Description:

IBM Informix Dynamic Server is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking when processing the arguments to the USELASTCOMMITTED option in a SQL query by the oninit process. By sending a specially-crafted request, a remote attacker with SQL query execution privileges could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
