Jana Server MS-DOS device denial of service

Description:
Jana Server is vulnerable to a denial of service attack. A remote attacker can submit a URL request to the Jana Server specifying an MS-DOS device name to cause the server to crash. The server must be restarted in order to regain normal functionality.
Platforms Affected:
- Thomas Hauck, Jana Server 1.45, 1.46, & 2.0b2
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Jana Server (2.0 Beta 2 or later), available from the Jana Server Web site. See References.
