Description:

HP-UX is vulnerable to a buffer overflow in several Common Desktop Environment (CDE) modules. By passing specially-crafted data to a CDE module, a local attacker can overflow a buffer. An attacker could use this vulnerability to cause a denial of service attack against the affected system or to gain elevated privileges.
