Description:
The Samsung ML-85G GDI printer driver for Linux could allow a local attacker to launch a symlink attack. The Samsung ML-85G GDI printer driver creates temporary files with predictable file names in the /tmp directory. A local attacker could use this vulnerability to create a symbolic link in the /tmp directory to these files to gain root privileges.
