XFree86 xman MANPATH environment variable buffer overflow

Description:
Linux-Mandrake is vulnerable to a buffer overflow in the XFree86 xman component. By inserting 7 KB of characters into the MANPATH environment variable, a local attacker can overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system. An attacker can use this vulnerability to gain root privileges on the affected system.
