Bugzilla reports.cgi cross-site scripting

Description:
Bugzilla is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by an input validation error in the reports.cgi script. A remote attacker could embed malicious script within a URL link to the reports.cgi script, which would be executed in the victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting site, once the link is clicked.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Bugzilla (2.14 or later), as listed in Bugzilla Security Advisory dated August 30th, 2001. See References.

Upgrade to the latest version of Bugzilla (2.14-1 or later), as listed in Red Hat, Inc. RHSA-2001:107-07. See References.
