Description:

Multiple Linux distributions with Apache HTTP Server installed could allow a remote attacker to determine valid usernames on the system. When a request is made for a user's default home page, one of three messages is displayed depending on whether the specified username exists and has a home page configured or not configured, or the username does not exist on the system at all. A remote attacker can use this vulnerability to determine valid usernames on the system that can be used to launch further attacks.
