Csound main() function pci_main.c buffer overflow

Csound is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the main() function in util/pci_main.c script. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
Remedy:Upgrade to the latest version of Csound (5.17.2 or later), available from the Csound Web site. See References.
