OpenSSL asn1_d2i_read_bio() buffer overflow

openssl-asn1d2ireadbio-bo (74926) The risk level is classified as HighHigh Risk

Description:

OpenSSL is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by multiple integer overflows within the asn1_d2i_read_bio() function when parsing encoded ASN.1 data. By using the majority of the d2i BIO interfaces and their wrappers, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
