Exceed X Server port 6000 denial of service

Description:
Hummingbird Exceed X is vulnerable to a denial of service attack. A remote attacker could connect to port 6000 and send random data to cause the X server to stop responding. The server must be restarted to regain normal functionality.

Remedy:
Upgrade to a non-vulnerable version of Exceed (6.0.1 or later), available from Hummingbird Technical Support. See References.
