Description:
The nmap utility in Caldera OpenServer could allow an attacker to terminate inetd when the -PO flag is invoked.
Platforms Affected:
- SCO, Caldera OpenServer 5.0.5
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Caldera OpenServer (5.0.6 or later), as listed in Caldera International, Inc. Security Advisory CSSA-2001-SCO.33. See References.
