util-linux (script) command hardlink can be used to overwrite files

Description:
The util-linux (script) command could allow a local attacker to overwrite files. An attacker could set hardlinks from the typescript log file to any file on the system, which would be overwritten once a root user executes the script command.

Upgrade to the latest version of util-linux (2.11n or later), available from the Linux Kernel Archives FTP site. See References.
