Sybex E-Trainer "dot dot" directory traversal

E-Trainer could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the Web server. E-Trainer installs a Web server that is used to connect to the online training course. A remote attacker can send specially-crafted URL requests containing "dot dot" sequences (/../) in the path to traverse directories and view any file on the system with Web server privileges.
No remedy available as of April 1, 2014.
