Newsdesk.cgi metacharacters allows arbitrary command execution

Description:
Ibrow Newsdesk could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the Web server. A remote attacker can submit a request containing metacharacter sequences (such as /ls%20/|) in the URL to execute arbitrary commands on the Web server with the privileges of httpd. An attacker can use this vulnerability to gain escalated access to the computer.
