Description:
A vulnerability in the XFS filesystem reorganizer in SGI IRIX could allow a local attacker to overwrite critical system files. An attacker could use this vulnerability to gain root privileges on the system.

Upgrade to IRIX 6.5.11 or a later, as listed in SGI Security Advisory 20020504-01-I. See References.
