IBM DB2 sqllib/security/db2ckpw buffer overflow

IIBM DB2 Universal Database is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking in the db2ckpw executable, which is used to verify usernames and passwords. By setting an overly long username in the file descriptor argument that is passed to sqllib/security/db2ckpw, a local attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with root privileges.
