Description:

A vulnerability in the defparams.pl script in Bugzilla could create a data directory with world writable permissions. A remote attacker could use this vulnerability to overwrite or create arbitrary data.

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest verson of Bugzilla (2.14.2 or later) or (2.16rc2 or later), as listed in Bugzilla Security Advisory Jun 8th, 2002. See References.
