BasiliX Webmail subject and message headers allow cross-site scripting

Description:
BasiliX is vulnerable to cross-site scripting attacks. A vulnerability regarding the lack of filtering for HTML tags in BasiliX Webmail could allow a remote attacker to embed malicious JavaScript code in the subject or message fields, which would be executed on the system once the message is viewed.
