|yabb-invalid-thread-xss (9408)||Medium Risk|
YaBB (Yet Another Bulletin Board) is vulnerable to cross-site scripting. A remote attacker can create a specially-crafted URL link, containing malicious script, to a thread topic that does not exist, which would be executed in the victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting site, once the link is clicked. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal a victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.
