Novell NetWare FTP username denial of service

Novell NetWare is vulnerable to a denial of service attack caused by a format string vulnerability in the FTP server (NWFTPD.NLM). A remote attacker could send format strings as the login name, which would cause the FTP server to crash. The system must be rebooted to regain normal functionality.
