Description:

Squid could disclose sensitive information. Under certain conditions, the Squid proxy authentication header could be forwarded to external Web sites, which could allow a remote attacker to obtain the proxy username and password.

Upgrade to the latest version of Squid Web Proxy Cache (2.4.STABLE7 or later), as listed in Squid Proxy Cache Security Update Advisory SQUID-2002:3. See References.
