WatchGuard Firebox SOHO insecure FTP authentication

Description:
WatchGuard Firebox SOHO uses weak authentication on the FTP service, which is enabled by default. The FTP service does not require a username for a user to log on, which could allow a remote attacker to use brute force techniques to determine a valid password and gain unauthorized access to the firewall configuration options using the FTP service.
