IBM U2 UniVerse invalid query denial of service
|ibm-universe-invalid-query-dos (9736)||Medium Risk|
U2 UniVerse is vulnerable to a denial of service attack caused by a buffer overflow. By executing a query over an ODBC connection that creates an invalid link between tables, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and cause the database server to crash. The server must be restarted to regain normal functionality.
